3. Today at 2:00 PM (after Sunday service) is the last day to sign up for the Advent Choir lead by Tabea K. The choir is slated to perform during Sunday worship on 12/19 at 1:00 PM. Rehearsals: 11/28, 12/05, and 12/12 from 2:30-3:30 PM

4. YCG is collecting items for the homeless through Friday, 12/10 in collaboration with City Mission. We will share a poster listing details on specific donation items, how you can donate and what will happen with the items donated.

   Current high priority: NEW underwear, NEW socks, coats, sleeping bags (blankets are good if you cannot donate a sleeping bag), toothbrushes, toothpaste, facial wipes, nail clippers.

5. Starting December 5, we plan to eliminate the weekly online sign up for in-person Sunday service. In lieu, everyone planning to attend in person services needs to fill out a one time waiver form which will be made available in the coming weeks. Elder & Deacon Candidate Bios

1. We are happy to welcome Glennis Shih, a local missionary that Newtown supports, to share updates about her ministry.

4. Due to the possibility of our church being unable to meet together for a one-day election, our consistory election will be run as a combination of mail ballot and drop-off ballot at the church over TWO weeks from Nov. 7th to Nov. 21st, 2021.

5. We are planning to open up our gates to the community after church on Sunday, Oct. 31st by hosting a “Trunk-or-Treat” event in the two parking lots.

6. Do you like to sing? We are gauging interest for a small Advent choir lead by vocalist and musician, Tabea K., to perform on Sunday, Dec 19th during service.
