The Elder and Deacon nominations have concluded and we are happy to announce Dennis Lee has been nominated as Deacon in the next year from the English Congregation. There are no Elder candidates from English Congregation. Election will take place on Sunday, 10/29, right after service. We ask that you pray for our candidate and get to know Dennis Lee.
We will be hosting our annual Trunk-or-Treat next Sunday, 10/29. If you have a car, we ask that you consider decorating it and devising a game for small children to play. If you don’t have a car, please consider helping with face painting or facilitating with games. See Grace Hong or Danielle Mendoza for more details.
Save the Date! YCG would like to invite the English Congregation for a fall festival outing on Saturday, Nov 4th. We also are looking for drivers to drive some YCG members to the location. More details to come!
Mark your calendars! On Sunday, Nov 12, 3-6pm, the Young Adult Small Group will be hosting a church-wide Clothing Swap & Coffee Fellowship in the Fellowship Hall. We encourage you to bring your gently used clothes to sell or exchange within our congregation. This is a great opportunity to declutter and find new homes for unwanted clothes. Free cappuccino and coffee will be available for people to enjoy while browsing. You are welcome to invite your shopping-loving friends. There is a sign-up sheet available for those bringing items.
