Our church has three different congregations in three languages. We just approved a plan to change our worship times so that the Mandarin Chinese service will be directly before English. The goal is to allow youth from that congregation, who mostly prefer to communicate in English, to have more access to our congregation so that we can help them grow in faith. Starting on October 6th we will worship at 1:30pm instead of 1:00pm. We look forward to greeting some new, young faces in our congregation!
The Newtown Consistory will postpone its decision regarding its status within the Reformed Church in America in light of new proposals under consideration by the denomination. The denomination will debate these proposals in June at their annual meeting and Newtown will come to a decision in July. If you would like more information, please reach out to Pastor Ryan.
