Today is Communion Sunday. Please pick up your communion packet outside the Sanctuary.
YCG would like to go apple picking at Wright’s Farm on Saturday, 10/15, but need rides. Please let us know if you are able and willing to drive students and join us for apple picking! Wright’s Farm is a 2-hour drive from church. Please contact Simone Louie (simone@newtown.church) or Alyson Yu if you can help.
Children Sunday School will begin next Sunday, October 9th. Children will start off in Sanctuary for praise time with parents and then gather at the back when confession prayer begins to be led upstairs.
We are hosting a Trunk or Treat event on Oct. 30 from 3-5pm outdoors for our community in Elmhurst. There will be carnival-like games for all young ages. If you would like to sign up to run a booth or provide your trunk, please speak with Grace Hong.
English Winter Retreat 2023 will be held on Jan. 14-16 with Pastor Sam Kim as our guest speaker. Please save the date for a weekend of connecting and recharging with our community. More details to come out later.
