Today is communion Sunday. We have pre-sealed communion cups for those attending in person. If you are joining us via YouTube, please prepare the elements for the sacrament. Juice or wine, and bread or crackers may be used.
Please join us for a picnic at Elmhurst Park on Grand Avenue today, Sunday June 5 after Sunday service. Bring some food/drink, blanket, games, balls, etc and let’s fellowship together!
Youth and College Group Retreat will be on Friday, August 5 to Sunday August 7th! If you have any high school or college students in your family, save the date for them. Please pray for us to be safe and healthy, especially in light of the resurgence of COVID. Registration will begin June 17 and end July 24 . Access to sign up forms will be announced closer to the date. There will be an early bird price, so sign up early if you can! More info to come.
We need a few volunteers to help out as ushers or greeters. Please email deacons@newtown.church if you can help.
SAVE THE DATE! The English Congregation Retreat will be on Saturday, January 14th to Monday, January 16th, 2023 (Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend). If you are interested in how we can make our time together fun, collaborative, and Christ-centered, please talk to Grace Hong.
