We are saddened to share that Margaret Theodore, who was also lovingly known as, “Grandma Margaret” has passed away. Her memorial service will be held today, December 26th, in the sanctuary according to the following schedule:
3:00 PM-4:00 PM: Viewing
4:00 PM-5:00 PM: Memorial Service
5:00 PM-6:00 PM: Viewing
Please try to find street parking for the service in order to accommodate family, friends and visitors. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 29th at 10:30 AM at Pinelawn Memorial Park. We will have Communion next week. For those who are participating via YouTube, please prepare the elements for the sacrament. You can use juice or wine, and bread or crackers. For those in person, we will have individually wrapped cups and crackers for you.
We need a few more slideshow techs to advance the song lyrics and service slides during Sunday worship. It is a simple yet important task for service to run smoothly. Training will be provided. Please email english.deacons@newtown.church, if you can help.
Unfortunately, today's planned "White Elephant" event has been canceled.
