TODAY’s GUEST SPEAKER: Pastor Sam Park

Sam Park is ordained with the Christian and Missionary Alliance. He received his Doctorate of Ministry from Alliance Theological Seminary. After being part of the pastoral team at the International Fellowship Church in Warsaw, Poland for 4 ½ years, he and his wife Michelle came back to the US and planted and pastored The Sycomore of the C&MA in Flushing, NY for 12 years.

He now works with the Metropolitan District of the C&MA offering pastoral care and coaching other pastors and Kingdom leaders. He and Michelle, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist are proud parents of two amazing daughters—Sophia (13) and Emma Jay (9). Sophia is passionate about art, loves to read, and sing. Emma Jay loves bugs and to build stuff! They also have a dog named Lady Paisley—a Shepherd/Border Collie-mix. When Sam isn’t investing in the lives of leaders, his other passion is being in the water fishing!

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Pastor Sam will join us again next week for a sermon on “Restoring Our Soul”.
We will be observing communion next Sunday, February 7. Pastor Johnson Huang, our Mandarin Assistant Pastor, will administer the sacrament. Please remember to prepare the elements for the sacrament. You can use juice or wine, and bread or crackers.
There will also be an English Congregation Town Hall meeting on Sunday February 7 around 3 pm immediately following our zoom Sunday service. Please join us for important updates about the transition planning and pastor search.
