Encouragement
As we have gone into our first full week of church and school closure (and I am sure for some of you much longer) I am reminded how important it is for us to stay connected. We may not be able to meet in person, but I encourage you to still connect with friends, family, and community. Online game nights and happy hours, sharing meals together, Bible studies and hang outs, these are all small ways that we can still stay connected. And remember… if you are going to invite 5, invite 8. Think of those around us who need hospitality and include them. I miss you all already!!
Devotional Resources for Individuals and Families
I mentioned last week to see this time at home as a time of forced Sabbath, a time to reinstitute a rhythm of worship and work and rest with you and your family. I have included a few resources to help you do that.
Lent Guide for Prayer and Reflection (also could use with your family)
Prayers, Sermon, and Worship Resources (for daily worship alone and with families) ---good family resources here
And, as always, I am available if you would like prayer or someone to talk to.
Be strong and courageous my friends! Let this time be a season where God leads us more deeply to his Grace and strengthens us with resilience to follow Jesus through uncertain times.
